Dylan Connor Covers Weezer

We love Weezer, and so does thousands of others. One true fan of the Grammy-winning rock band have shown a little appreciation by releasing a cover album titled Almost Green Album, paying tribute to Weezer's 2001 Green Album release.


Eclectic indie pop action Dylan Connor's interpretations are mainly acoustic based accompanied by a little lead guitar to add some spice to it. His characteristic vocals are layered nicely to capture Weezer's original melodies.

Despite all the hardwork throughout the process making this album, Connor is offering this tribute album for download at no cost.

Connor also released his second studio album Breakaway Republic on January 20.

White Rabbits - It's Frightening

Brooklyn-based rock gems White Rabbits is all prep up to unveil their second studio album titled It's Frightening, scheduled to release on May 19. Consists of ten newly-composed tracks, we won't be any surprise if they sound any brighter than the last, as we have great faith with the Rabbits on delivering powerful energetic tunes.

Best known for having two drummers on the scene, you can imagine the massive beats flying to one another on the party-lauded stage. We couldn't agree more when people say they are superb on stage.

M Ward - Hold Time

Indie folk artist M Ward released Hold Time, his sixth studio album on February 17 through Merge Records.

Hold Time features guest appearances by Grandaddy's Jason Lytle, Lucinda Williams, DeVotchKa's Tom Hagerman and Zooey Deschanel.

Honestly speaking, we are still folking all out with M Ward's previous album Post War, tentatively, we are not sure we are ready for this. But anyhow, M Ward is one musician that we are particularly amazed of his talents in the music biz. The rhythms he perform are ear-soothing and harmonically digestive.

We've been waiting for this moment to come for awhile now. Perhaps, it's time to put Post War in the rack and head on to the new piece.

The Lovetones - Dimensions

Matthew J. Tow ain't no stranger in the Australian music scene. Tow is highly known as a talented singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and is the man behind music acts like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Colorsound, Drop City, Splash and The Lovetones, the psychedelic rock band he currently belongs to.

First released their debut album in 2002, The Lovetones have garnered a great amount of attractions by music critics. Best described as 'wavy melodic grooves floating in wonderland' by us.

The Lovetones' latest effort was their recent release titled Dimensions, also their fourth studio album. Released on Planting Seeds.

Pomegranates Unveils Sophomore Album

If you ask us did we fell in love with the sounds of Cincinnati art-pop gems Pomegranates, we could easily slap you in the head and say "have always been!".

The last time we mentioned Pomegranates was their first studio album, and now the starlets returns with another 'poplicious' dreamy album titled Everybody, Come Outside!. Their debut Everything Is Alive has gave us a good impression of their distinctive harmonious pop tunes, we can assure you this upcoming release will be something further tastier than the first.
