Ann-Sofie Back for Fred Perry Blank Canvas

Fred Perry commissioned Swedish designer Ann-Sofie Back to develop a capsule for the brand's Blank Canvas campaign.

Based on her creativity, Back has created a range of garment that are so appealing that we can't afford to just let it pass.

This collaboration was seen circulating on tabloids last October, however, we decided to show this cos' we think it's definitely worth it. A little out-dated, but it's definitely worth it.




According to the site, Back drew inspiration from products and issues that made her felt uncomfortable.

Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band - Outer South

American singer/songwriter Conor Oberst and his backing band The Mystic Valley Band unveils their second studio album titled Outer South due out on May 5 through Merge Records, their second with the label.

The new album features dozens of new tracks featuring not only Oberst's writing skills and compositions, but also share contributions from the other bandmates.

The Mystic Valley Band comprise of Taylor Hollingsworth, Nik Freitas, Macey Taylor, Nathaniel Walcott (Bright Eyes) and Jason Boesel (Rilo Kiley). Oberst is also a member of Bright Eyes.

Raf Simons x Fred Perry Spring/Summer 2009

Raf Simons and Fred Perry once again got together for a second collaboration to insert a new collection for Spring/Summer 2009.

Unlike the last season, this collection seem to widen their usage of it's color palette and different sorts of fabrics.

Street Sweeper Debuts

Following the footsteps of his bandmate Zach de la Rocha, Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello has formed a new rap rock supergroup called Street Sweeper, along with Oakland's hip hop act The Coup's Boots Riley.

Initially was just a mere special guest appearance duet at Morello's alter-ego solo act The Nightwatchman shows, both have since shown commitments to this supergroup and have announced a forthcoming debut album sometime this year. Galactic's Stanton Moore is filling in on the drumming duties, however, was not announced whether he will be a full time member of the supergroup.

MHI Spring 2009

Here it is. The delivery from MHI has arrived after the long wait. Definitely not the entire collection, but Livestock has em' going.

The Mosaic Begins

A long wait since last year's Broken Social Scene, the annually held Mosaic Music Festival returns to bring you another electrifying line-up this year!

Premiering today, the event will last until March 22. Expect performances by Brazilian Darlings, Yellowjackets, Indigo Girls, Brian McKnight, Battles, Cinematic Orchestra, Naturally 7, Psapp, Of Montreal, Skye, N.E.R.D, Old Man River and many many more!

Jarvis Cocker Announced Second Solo Album

Best known for his major roles in Pulp, English musician Jarvis Cocker has announced information on his second solo effort, as rumored to be titled Further Complications. Set for a May 18 release, this album will see another producing duty by the great Steve Albini.
