Allow the name to speak for itself, Heroes Of The Dancefloor announced a new album titled Torch and was released on November 25 on digital label INgrooves.
Part of their social responsibility to contribute to needy ones, the band has decided to offer all proceedings from the sales will go to two New York-based charities, Picture The Homeless and Coalition For The Homeless.
Torch features Gary Alesbrook on trumpet, James Morton on sax, Dan Moore on keys and bass, Alex Hutchins on guitars and Mamazu on vocals. Mixes and remixes have come from top DJs including Nick Chacona and Anthony Mansfield, top engineers like Adam Noble, Joe Fields, Sam Dillon, Doug McBride, Thom Russo and Mick Glossop.
According to their MySpace, the record was inspired by a homeless pregnant woman who was begging in the rain on the street of New York.
